St. Michael's Episcopal Church

Small Groups Return this Fall

Our programs are designed to introduce Contemplative Prayer and the practice of Christian Spirituality. In a small group setting, we will explore what helps us respond to God in ordinary life. We will build friendships, practice attentive listening, and respond to scripture. This time will allow us to experience silence as a uniquely powerful way of being open to God.

“A Woman’s Heart - God’s Dwelling Place”

This in-depth biblical study by Beth Moore explores the fascinating account of the building of the tabernacle, the significance of its intricate design, its pivotal role in God’s eternal plan and the grand fulfillment of its purpose by Jesus Christ, the true Tabernacle. As we journey through this Old Testament account, we are encouraged to prepare our hearts, like the Holy of Holies, to become a home for God’s love and glory- a dwelling place for the Most High God.

St. Michael's Window Restoration Project

fullsizeoutput_14540.jpeg

Efforts are now underway to fund an important restoration of our stained glass windows. A complex collection of sacred art glass, our windows are unique to our parish, as there are none like them in the world. We hope to restore them to their original splendor for generations to come.

Read more about our windows and their inception, in the summer edition of Archangel, in your home mailboxes this week.

Thank you to all those who have contributed to the project, which will begin in early August. We need the support of every family in the parish.

Please return your pledge card to St. Michael’s as soon as possible. Extra cards available at the front desk. Contact: Tim Berry.
