Finding God in the Ordinary – Extended Program
After the great success of our parish small groups program this fall, three small groups are continuing and welcoming new members.

Led by trained facilitators, these small groups meet weekly for spiritual deepening and fellowship. In their 90 minute meetings, they enjoy a period of silent prayer, discussing spiritual reading and listening and responding to Scripture. No prior involvement required: All are welcome!

To sign up for a group, email a facilitator in charge of the group.

Monday 6-7:30pm. Starts January 15. Email Sam Taylor (Book for group reading: TBD)

NEW Centering Prayer Group
"The Gift of Silence"
Beginning on Jan. 16, there will be a weekly opportunity at St. Michael's to practice and explore Centering Prayer in a group setting. The group will meet each Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. Many of us in the parish have experienced a taste of contemplative prayer or "silence" in our small groups this fall or elsewhere and would like to continue this spiritual discipline. For others, this may be a new endeavor and all are welcome!

These morning meetings will be a quiet time of prayer and learning, as we make ourselves available to the presence of God and each other. No outside study or readings will be assigned and there are no attendance requirements. If you have questions, please direct them to Leon Woodruff.
