The American Boychoir

7:30 p.m.

The American Boychoir was founded in 1937 in Columbus, Ohio as the Columbus Boychoir and has been located in Princeton, New Jersey since 1950. The choir has long been recognized as one of the finest musical ensembles in the country.

Under the leadership of Fernando Malvar-Ruiz, the Boychoir has dazzled audiences with its unique blend of musical sophistication, spirited presentation, and ensemble virtuosity. The Boychoir performs regularly with world-class orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Boston Symphony Orchestra.

As an icon of American musical excellence, the Boychoir has been invited to sing for every sitting U.S. President since John F. Kennedy.

We are thrilled to welcome the American Boychoir to St. Michael’s! As a special treat for St. Michael’s own boychoir (the St. Gregory Choir), our boys have been invited to perform a piece with the American Boychoir on this concert.

Admission:

$15 for adults

$10 for those 18 years of age and younger

Choral Evensong

4 p.m.

Choral Evensong is a musical treasure of our Anglican/Episcopal heritage. Some of the most wonderful choral music was composed specifically for Evensong.

We invite you to relax, listen, and meditate as our Adult Choir, St. Gregory Boychoir, and St. Cecilia Girls Choir sing this beautiful liturgy.
