St. Gregory Boychoir

Kevin Kerstetter, Conductor

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6 p.m.

The St. Gregory Boychoir offers boys in grades 3-8 the opportunity to use their remarkable treble voices, singing music composed with the boy's unique, clear sound in mind.  They learn essential vocal and music reading skills and have a marvelous time being part of this entirely worthwhile endeavor.  Many of the boys are also involved in sports or play a musical instrument.  This once-in-a-lifetime musical experience for boy trebles.

The Boychoir sings traditional treble repertoire as well as four-part music for men and boys.  They also sing with the St. Cecilia and Adult Choirs.

Well over 100 boys, girls and teens sing in one of St. Michael's choirs.  Each choir is led by an experienced, trained musician dedicated to training our children to offer their best musical gifts to God.

Youth Choir st michaels

Kevin Kerstetter, Conductor

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6 p.m.

Girls in grades 6-12 have gained considerable skill as choristers, reading music and singing as well as any adult.  The music that they sing is challenging and rewarding.  Creating something of uncommon beauty and offering it to God in worship requires hard work, but is enormously fun!

Our girls sing during the 9:30 a.m. Eucharist during the school year.  On occasion, they also sing with the adults and offer Choral Evensong.  Teen boys with changed voices sing with the Boychoir, Girls Choir and adults.

Choristers are encouraged to attend one of the outstanding week-long Royal School of Church Music courses during the summer.
